There will be 10 concerts performed at the Luigi Candoni Municipal Theater of Tolmezzo, with pianist Denis Kozhukhin opening on the 17th of July and bandoneon performer Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi closing on the 3rd of August. On the other days, the following artists will perform: cellists Steven Isserli and Claudio Bohórquez, pianist Freddy Kempf, violinists Lim Ji-Young and Zia Hyunsu Shin, pianist Rémi Geniet, flutist Maxim Rubtsov and violinist Andrey Baranov.
To play alongside all these prestigious musicians, there will be the FVG Orchestra, and some of the most esteemed conductors. Musicians will perform a series of famous compositions by European composers, including the festival's Composer-In-Residence contemporary composer, Alexey Shor.
All the concerts will take place in the evening and will make Luigi Candoni Municipal Theater breathe through classical music and the city of Tolmezzo celebrate arts and culture for ten days. This series of performances represent a unique event, creating a perfect combination between soloists, orchestra and conductors.
